This is the "Hurry Up" part

Thankfully, I finally did get the right paperwork to the right office to get the move underway. And now the move is schedule... FOR NEXT WEDNESDAY!! No worries, just a little change of plans. Rather than bumming around the house tonight and making plans to fly out to CA tomorrow I am at the office trying to get all of our stuff out. The car is now full and the digitals are copying.

I think everything will still go well. My tentative plan is to unload the car tonight, make travel plans leaving Saturday, meet with the mover guy Saturday morning, go to CA for a few days, head home Tuesday, pack whatever I want to carry around for the next month, and wait for the movers on Wednesday. Just a normal week around here.

Dan is doing well though we are both growing very tiered of being apart. Our lives are not exciting enough to sustain a nightly phone conversation. It's just easier to be together. So, today I plan to fly to Boston at some time early in August and drive down with Dan. By tomorrow (or after a long weekend in CA) I may change my mind again.

As this is the "hurry up" part... be prepared for the waiting which usually follows soon.

Life at home has been good. Went to see Transformers last night. Very cool. Was joined by a few of our High School students. (A huge accomplishment to be cool enough to hang out with, even after the movie.) We got into a heated debate about weather the Transformers could join together into on larger robot... Remember! Optimus Prime was the head!! This lead into a debate regarding which came first: Power Rangers - who can join together, or Transformers. Young people are sooo clueless. :-)

I think I've found the right office to deal with for the move. My evenings are free for a few days. And, slowly, I'm getting my office cleaned out. Oh! And I've officially gained 14 pounds total since the beginning of the pregnancy. So now I can stop the power eating. Just normal food and a few extra coffee coolers. :-)

One Week to Go...

Now... if we can only get someone to MOVE OUR STUFF!

I have one more week of real work, then a few days in the office the following week. The rest of July is vacation. How great is that. So... in my fantasy world I'll spend my days organising pictures, writing thankyou notes... Like I said, this is my fantasy world.

Life is going well in general. Tomorrow morning I see the doctor. The only thing that I still need to do is get the move set up. I've been passed around to enough offices, now I think I have the right one. I just have to get a hold of an actual person. Tomorrow morning, 8 am, I'll try again.
